Day 1: Drive to Lake Mburo
Drive early from Entebbe and stop at the equator for the water demonstration and pictures then have some coffee or tea or a snack then continue to Rwakobo Rock lodge for lunch then later do a mountain biking or walking safari to see some wild game then later have dinner and spend the night at this lodge. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge or Rwakobo Rock
Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Start with an early breakfast then do a morning game walk and cultural visit then drive to the breath taking thick forest of Bwindi national park, as you travel you will make scenery picture stops and short visits to the extra ordinary activities of the locals by the roadside as you travel. This day, is filled with very exciting beautiful landscape viewing and the beautiful method of cultivation on the hills of western part of Uganda. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs Lodge/Gorilla Mist Camp
Day 3: Gorilla tracking
On this day, start with an early breakfast and you are driven to the briefing center in the southern sector of Bwindi national park then you are prepared for the day's hiking to the famous mountain Gorillas and have an amazing experience with them. One can never tell how long you will spend in the impenetrable forest but that depends on how far the Gorillas are and the pace of the group hiking to them. After this great experience, you will be driven back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs Lodge/Gorilla Mist Camp
Day 4: The Batwa/ pygmies community visit
Visit the Batwa Pygmy communities and the local tribe around for an unforgettable experience with the pygmies who now live outside the forest having been evacuated from the Bwindi national park in early 90's, the pygmies used to share the forest with the Gorillas till it was gazetted as conservation area. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs Lodge/Gorilla Mist Camp
Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala.
After breakfast, you will check out and be transferred to Kampala via Mbarara with a stopover for lunch at Igongo Cultural centre. Another stopover will be made at the equator line for a great experiment! You will arrive in the evening and be transferred to the airport to readily catch your flight back home.
