Day 1: Arrival at Kigali
After your arrival, meet and greet with your tour guide at the Kigali International Airport and have your safari briefings. Later, drive to your hotel for overnight stay. Overnight at The Travellers Guest House
Day 2: City Tour, Cultural tour – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After having breakfast, take up the Kigali city tour including the Genocide Memorial, one of the many countrywide. Later, drive to the Presidential and Natural history museums and then have lunch and depart for Musanze in the North, home to the famous endangered Mountain Gorillas. Later in the afternoon visit Ib’iwacu cultural center, experience the real authentic Rwandese cultural lifestyle. Overnight at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge
Day 3: Gorillas and Twin Lakes
After your morning wakeup call and breakfast, report to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking briefings by the Volcanoes National Park’s guides. After you are assigned to a specific group, start your trek which will vary in length depending on which gorilla group you have been assigned to. You will spend one hour in their company before retracing your steps back down the volcano slopes. In the afternoon after you had lunch at the lodge, drive to the back to Kigali to meet your evening departure flight.
