Day 1: Murchison Falls National Park-Top of the falls tour
The anticipation builds as you set off from Kampala / Entebbe Airport on your arrival, to start a three-day adventure in Murchison Falls National Park. The journey takes you through diverse landscapes, from bustling urban areas to rural villages, offering a glimpse into the country’s natural beauty. As you leave the city behind, the road winds through lush greenery, foreshadowing the best-inspiring landscapes that await you.
After a few hours on the road, you arrive at the entrance of Murchison Falls National Park. The park, named after the magical Murchison Falls, a true gem of Uganda’s wildlife conservation efforts. It spans over 3,840 square kilometers, making it one of the largest protected areas in the country. The park is home to a remarkable variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, and numerous species of birds.
You check into your chosen accommodation, whether it’s a comfortable lodge nestled amidst the wilderness or a cozy campsite that allows you to immerse yourself fully in nature. After settling in, it’s time to start your first adventure—a game drive. Your knowledgeable guide will accompany you throughout your journey, driving you, sharing insights and pointing out the park’s most iconic inhabitants species.
As the game drive begins, you find yourself surrounded by vast plains, dotted with acacia trees green and golden grass. The savannah stretches as far as the eye can see, and the air is filled with a sense of excitement. With your camera at the ready, you traverse the park’s network of dirt roads, keeping a keen eye out for any signs of movement in the distance.

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park
You will have breakfast and head out for a morning game drive with a game ranger/guide on the northern bank as you trail and lookout for; Elephant, Buffalo, Uganda Kob, Hartebeest, Oribi, Giraffe, Leopard and other game. Return to the Lodge for lunch, after which, we take the boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. Look out for Hippos, Nile crocodile, Waterbuck and a host of water birds. Return to Paraa Safari Lodge/ Sambiya River Lodge/Red Chilli Camp for dinner and over night.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park – via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary – Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, we drive back to Kampala en route visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking on foot and have a feel of the African Big five. Have lunch at Amuka Lodge and later drive back to Kampala on your way from Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to Kampala / Entebbe
